Valeriia is a new media artist and urbanist. She explores the connections between natural and urban patterns through data-driven and generative visuals. Using minimal aesthetics, she creates installations and live visuals that weave together light, sound, and data, inviting audiences to engage.
Her technical approach adapts to the individuality of each project, ranging from standard lighting fixtures and lasers to custom projection mapping and LED panels. She aims to translate her passion for public space and participatory approaches in urban planning through interactive installations and real-time shows in cooperation with local music and art festivals, and public and cultural institutions in Prague and abroad.
Valeriia has collaborated with a variety of musical artists, including Tom VR (UK), Tor (CA), Floex (CZ), David Granström (SE), Adela Mede (SK), and others, helping to visualize their musical ideas and build connections between performers, spaces, and audiences.

Hello, my name is Valeriia Riazanova. I am a Ukranian creative technologist and new media artist with a background in urbanism and environmental studies. I am currently based in Prague, Czechia.
I use tech-based solutions and tools to create site-specific installations and live performances. My tech choices are driven by the individual nature of each project, and so far have included various lighting fixtures and lasers, projection mapping, custom-made LED walls, and sensors. For my animations, I often use movements created by generative algorithms.
I work with music producers to help them visualize their musical ideas and create a connection to the performance space and their audiences. Currently, I focus on developing data-based installations and visuals that reflect natural and urban patterns.
I also collaborate with various clubs and electronic music events as a light and installation designer.
